This type of open cast-iron screen for male urinals was introduced by the Victorians and could be found in the middle of the roads, in public parks and on station platforms,
An example of the latter can still be found on the platform of Bewdley Station on the Severn Valley Railway.
They were a basic but important step towards better public health.
Footprint: 92mm x 34mm.
Supplied with pre-coloured parts although painting and/or weathering can add realism.
Glue and paint is required to complete this model.
