The original design was a result of coperation between the LNER and LMS for a wagon design capable of moving large loads.
This version was built by theTeeside Bridge and Engineering Company in 1950, The model is based on the Dia 113 Trestrol C design although slightly shorter than the prototype it is still a close realisation of the prototype wagon.
