Legislation was one favourable to the operation of heave goods vehicles drawing trailers. Lorry operators took the opportunity to augment the limited load capacity on lorries of the period by drawing a trailer.

This model trailer is typical of the period, and is of a type built by Taskers of Andover, a popular maker.

It is suitable for use with our 4mm scale lorry kits or other similar makes, several trailers can be hitched together to form a 'road train' drawn by a traction engine, this model can also be adapted to represent a farm trailer or a Showman's trailer.

This kit represents the flat bed trailer used for the carriage of machinery, it was also suitable for load such as sacks, paper etc. when sheeted and roped.

The kit is complete except for paint and liquid cement.
