The South Eastern & Chatham standard design of 7 plank open wagon.

The prototype wagon built in 1915 to test the new design which featured a steel underframe production wagons were built from 1919 to 1927 by the SECR and Southern, with a total of 2,121 wagons constructed.

Most lasted into British Railways ownership, with 70 being recorded in regular service traffic in the 1960s and the last examples withdrawn in the early 1970s.
