Walls were used to widen embankments and cuttings, shore up earth in yards and to make town viaducts, often with shops, stores and roads running under them.
The kit comes with arch blanking walls, which can be removed for open arches or to accommodate shop fronts and doors.
Often seen with business premises in them, these Stone Retaining Arches measure 494mm long x 90mm high.
Supplied with pre-coloured parts although painting and/or weathering can add realism.
