CC1008 Cooper Craft GWR V4 Mink Van 7ft 61/2in high

In 1904, 200 V4 vans were built, as an experiment the V4's were built as two separate lots with different roof heights to see which proved best. The highest of the two  was 8ft 0 1/2ins and this can be obtained in model form in the CC1007 kit.

This kit depicts the lower roof height which was eventually adopted as the standard roof height for future van construction on the G.W.R.

This makes the V4 in this kit stand a little higher than the normal van and will add visual interest and variety to any G.W.R. train.

This kit contains transfers, steel ballast weight and pinpoint bearings plastic wheelsets. Tension lock couplings are provided, a are bases for fitting Peco Magni-Simplex couplings, three link couplings can also be fitted.

Metal wheels with 2mm brass bearings may be substituted if desired.
