This kit is a scale model of the 21 lever L&NWR signal box at Draughton Crossing on the line from Market Harboroug to Northampton. Basic interior detail is included plus additional parts to build an outside toilet (common for L&NWR boxes).
Parts are finished in 1933 colours of dark brown and light stone - under British Railways these colours were changed to gulf red and light biscuit and later to dark green and mushroom from 1961 onwards.
Plastic parts are included for the stairway, stairway supports, guttering and valance, drainpipes, chimney pot, doorknobs, oil drum, signalman, fire buckets and nameboard frame
