Placing Orders, Special Orders and Shipping

ORDERS FOR IN-STOCK ITEMS: You can place orders for any of the many items we have in stock using one of the following methods: 

• By email. 
• By phone, 
• On line store - please note we do not have automatic shipping this enables us to calculate the shipping on a case by case basis to ensure we provide the most cost effective shipping. 
• At one of the Train Shows

SPECIAL ORDERS: May be placed by email or phone.  When an item is ordered as a special request we reserve the right to request full or partial payment at the time the order is placed.  Please note once placed special orders cannot be cancelled with the manufacturer or supplier - in this instance the customer is responsible for payment in full at the time the special order is received by British Model Trains Ltd.

SHIPPING: We can arrange shipping for any items ordered by any method or you are welcome to collect items kerbside pick up or at one of the Train shows we attend.

To provide the best service please contact for shipping costs and we will provide the actual cost to ship which is the more cost effective than a standard shipping cost approach. 

We will refund the difference between the "Standard Shipping" charge and the actual shipping cost.  We reserve the right to add additional shipping charges when the actual shipping cost exceeds the $30 standard shipping charge.
